The Australian Open starts in a day, and for the first time, Andy Murray will be the number 1 seed at a grand slam. Many questions arise including, will he be able to get revenge on Djokovic in the finals after losing to Novak in Doha, or will the reigning champion defend his title? As well as, will any young guns make a run and challenge the veterans? The answer to these questions will be presented in the next two weeks, but for the meantime here are my bracket predictions: you can see them on YouTube here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uoz6yrfcr0I or read them below.
To start my predictions off, I have Novak Djokovic defeating Andy Murray in the finals. My semifinal matchups consist of Murray vs. Wawrinka and Nadal vs. Djokovic. My biggest upset is arguably Roberto Bautista Agut defeating Milos Raonic to advance to the quarterfinals and Daniil Medvedev beating David Ferrer. I also have David Goffin beating Dominic Thiem to reach the quarterfinals. Below are my predictions for the first four rounds of each section.
